Garlic Breath

Today I had a craving for Asian food. There is a great little restaurant about 10 minutes from my office. I can call them up and order take out, then it is ready for me when I get there. I keep their menu at my desk and also on the refrigerator at home.

So I had this great chicken with peanuts in a brown garlic sauce. It was fantastic. But I spent the rest of the afternoon worrying about having garlic breath. This would have been a great opportunity to use a swig of Scope if I had kept a bottle in my desk.

Silly Memes

A friend is sending around a meme that asks all kinds of silly questions. I think most of them are too personal and I’m actually suspicious of some of them. They seem to ask the type of questions that software programs ask for security tests. Like when you forget the password. So I’m not going to answer the meme questions.  Call me paranoid, but I don’t think it is smart to put all that personal infromation out there.

A Great Amazing Race

Wow – we just finished watching the grand finale of the Amazing Race. The team that I was cheering for almost won – they were ahead and then the very last puzzle slowed them down. I was so disappointed for them. But it was a good race.

I would love to do that if I could leave my job and my home life for the long time it would take to complete the race. I think the actual time involved is about 3 weeks. With the right partner, I think I could handle most of those challenges and have a shot at winning.

Whats With the Facebook Craze?

Everyone is talking about MySpace and Facebook and Twitter. I don’t get the fascination with this stuff. A lot of the Facebook process seems way to weird for my taste. Evidently I’m not the only one who thinks this stuff is weird:

Nicholas Cage New Flick

The latest movie out on DVD starring Nicholas Cage is “Bangkok Dangerous.” I found it on the shelf at Wal-Mart today for the first time and grabbed it up. That’s what I’m watching tonight! Anything with Nicholas Cage in it is a hit with me. I love that guy!
