New Hair

newhair

This is not a picture of me. I don’t even know who this woman is. But I want her haircut. Does anyone know what style you call this haircut so I can tell my hairstylist to cut my hair like this? I’m sick of the long straggly hair and want something fresh. I think this style would work well for me, but I don’t know what you call it!

California Dreams

There are two places that make people think of paradise. I think the first place most people think of is Hawaii. It is the tropical paradise that attracts honeymooners and big name celebrities.

The second place might be California. The state has such a big reputation for pacific coast beaches, warm weather, and a relaxed attitude among everyone. There are several big cities that draw people for conventions, vacations and colleges.

I have always wanted to go to San Diego. Haven’t made it that far yet, but I’m sure I will get the chance soon.

Son of a Witch

The first book, Wicked, ends with the Wicked Witch of the West dying, like in the Movie, Wizard of Oz, when Dorothy accidentally tosses a bucket of water on her. She leaves behind a son, who continues a storyline in Oz. The book title is clever and I’m on the lookout for it in stores so I can continue reading the Oz saga.

Wicked

I have the deepest sympathies for the witch. Now that I heard (read, actually) her side of the story, I am very sad for her.
